From Underperformers to Qualifiers: How EVOS Made It to the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring Grand Finals

EVOS Divine began their campaign in the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring along a rocky road. The EWC 2025 champion had to fight hard to finally qualify for the grand finals.

The team started out rather weak in the first week, surviving in the mid-table by a combination of willpower and sheer luck. The third week, where teams could manage an early qualification, was also unremarkable for EVOS.

Comes the fourth week; luckily, EVOS are able to rise up to the task. They played consistently well to place themselves in the qualification spot.

During an interview session, we asked how EVOS rose up from their slump to finally become competitive again at the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring.

“Since Week 1, we’ve been talking about our issues, and yesterday we finally pinpointed the root of the problem,” said Leem, EVOS Divine’s coach.

“So now that we’ve identified the problem, we should be able to do well,” he assured.

The confidence of upholding their champion status is also shared with EVOS’s players. Rasyah, one of EVOS Divine’s top players, is determined to give everything he has.

“If I were in the grand finals, I’d definitely play as if I had nothing to lose. I mean, I wouldn’t overthink it. I’d just go all out and shoot (the enemies),” Rasyah explained.

It’ll be interesting to see how the awakened EVOS will fare against RRQ Kazu, Bigetron by Vitality, and other teams that qualify for the grand finals.

The FFWS SEA 2026 Spring grand finals will start on May 30 at Quân Khu 7 Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
