How EVOS Divine Will Cope With The Loss of Rasyah

The decision of Rasyah, who decided to take a break after the Esports World Cup 2026, caused a buzz amongst EVOS Divine‘s fans. With the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall coming up, the timing is just not right.

Even more so, his partner Reyy also decided to follow suit. With two vacant spots on the team, EVOS scrambled to find a suitable replacement.

As the roster lock deadline neared, EVOS finally made a decision. They signed in Faiz from Bigetron by Vitality and took Ikal from Dewa United Horus on a loan.

The response to these signings is, at best, skeptical. Some fans doubted that Faiz and Ikal have what it takes to fill Rasyah’s and Reyy’s roles in the team.

But Leem, EVOS Divine’s coach, assured that this would not be the case. He’s confident that both Faiz and Ikal will perform as expected of their roles.

“The players we’ve selected have experience in the SEA league, and their positions are well-suited to replacing the previous players,” said Leem in an exclusive interview with DoubleXP.

Faiz’s best finishing position in an international tournament is third place with Bigetron at the FFWS SEA 2025 Spring. Meanwhile, Ikal is even more decorated, finishing fourth at the FFWS Global Finals 2025 with RRQ Kazu, followed by fourth at FFWS SEA 2025 Fall, another fourth at ESL Snapdragon Pro Series S5 APAC Challenge, and second at ESL Snapdragon Pro Series S3 Challenge.

“Ikal has already played for many international-level esports teams, and we believe he is capable of joining our team. As for Faiz, he recently delivered strong performances for his previous team at the SEA and EWC tournaments. I’m confident he can fill Rasyah’s position,” Leem explained

In another exclusive interview session with DoubleXP, Faiz speaks confidently about his role. He took into consideration EVOS’ stature in the Free Fire esports scene to fuel his own ambition.

“Joining EVOS makes us proud, but considering the team’s history, which has carried the Indonesian region in FF tournaments, there’s definitely pressure. However, we’re using that pressure as a fuel to give our best and perform at our peak with this team,” said Faiz.

While their experience speaks for itself, we will have to see how both Faiz and Ikal will perform at the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall opener this weekend.
