Former JKT48 Member Yuri Kim Returns With “Rahara”
Yuri Kim, a former member of the JKT48 idol group, made her return to the Indonesian music scene with her debut single, “Rahara.”
Real name Zahra Yuriva Dermawan, Yuri Kim made her debut with JKT48 in 2015 as part of the group’s 4th generation members. She participated in various singles and albums, as well as various units in stage and concert performances.
In 2018, Yuri graduated from JKT48, citing poor health as the reason. Later in 2020, Yuri participated in the Master Chef Indonesia game show, where she was eliminated in the top 11.
Yuri’s debut single “Rahara” marks her return to the music scene in 2026 after 8 years. The song was initially a demo produced by Alletias, a former keyboardist of the EONIC band. Yuri, who felt a connection with the song, suggested to Alletias that they develop “Rahara” further.

“Rahara” is produced by Utta, who’s also responsible for managing virtual singer Crystagella. Signed with Ruang Bawah Records, Yuri is also credited as co-composer. The team members are also assembled, with rvdit. as vocal director, Febry on bass, and Kenji from Rob The Gun handling the single’s visual identity.
“My desire to become a singer never really faded. When I met Ruang Bawah Records, I felt like I’d finally found a place to start over and take the process seriously,” said Yuri in a press release.
She added that “Rahara” is a symbol of her budding passion to reintroduce herself to the music scene in a more mature way.
“This project grew out of an old demo that took on new meaning when Yuri joined in its development. What we’re building isn’t just a single release but a space for collaboration so that Yuri can rediscover herself as a singer and continue to grow alongside the team,” producer Utta added.
“Rahara” from Yuri Kim will be released on various digital streaming platforms on August 28th.
