5 Teams to Watch At The FFNS 2026 Fall
This week, FFNS 2026 Fall returns with an exciting grand final held in Yogyakarta. This is the second half of the FFNS tournament that closes this season, with teams determined to right the wrongs from the Spring tournament.
With only one slot for teams moving up to the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall, everyone will want to perform exceptionally well to win this one.
We gathered the story behind five teams who might have a great chance to qualify for the Southeast Asia stage.
1. Shadow Esports
As the FFNS 2026 Spring champion, Shadow Esports is determined to return to the world stage. After all, they had some grudges to settle.
Despite showing potential during the FFNS, even claiming the championship, they were unable to provide a decent challenge at the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring. The team finished dead last, even with a Booyah under their name.
Now fully understanding their weakness, Shadow Esports will aim to return to the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall by targeting back-to-back FFNS titles.
2. Gokil Jo Noh
This young team made their mark after an impressive run in the play-ins. They employed a two-pronged strategy where two rushers closed in on their opponent as a bait, where a sniper carefully picked off unsuspecting enemies.
As the backline attacker, Marsell also controls the battlefield by reading the situation from far away and providing support when necessary. And there’s a good reason why Marsell was chosen for this role, as he’s the most experienced member in this team and formerly played for OPI and ARF.
Sounds like Persatuan PSSJ? It could be. A veteran player lending their expertise to a fresh team is always an interesting thing to watch.
3. Borneo Hilang Arah
Another community team to look out for is Borneo Hilang Arah, who qualified for the FFNS 2026 Fall through the Dana Community Cup 2026 by finishing second behind Sriwijaya Esports. In the play-ins stage, they also challenged teams like MBR Omega and Kagendra by finishing third behind them in group B.
Their key player is definitely Ahnaf. He’s a young player making his name through various grassroots tournaments in Yogyakarta, such as the POCO Extreme League and Gebyar Olahraga Pendidikan Yogyakarta 2026.
The captain and shotcaller might feel comfortable playing on the home turf, but the finals will be a whole different game. It is up to Ahnaf and the rest of the Borneo Hilang Arah boys to rise up to the call.
4. Dewa United Horus
Dewa United Horus must be one of the unluckiest teams in FFNS. Make no mistake, as a team they are very capable of mounting a tough challenge. But every time they had a chance to seize victory, it always slipped between their fingers.
In 2025, they only managed a top 3 finish in both the FFNS Spring and Fall seasons. The story is still the same in 2026, when they finished second at the FFNS 2026 Spring. And in FFNS, second place meant losing your spot at the FFWS SEA.
Winning the FFMAI 2026 Spring gave the team confidence to retry their chances. Will Dewa United win this season of FFNS?
5. Pandora Stars
While the spotlight focused on Dewa United and Shadow Esports, Pandora Stars have a chance to create something surprising, considering how their playstyle counters micro-centered teams.
Pandora Stars tend to focus on the macro aspect by controlling the objective, rotating their position faster, and managing their resources. By being malleable in terms of strategy, Pandora Stars managed to avoid unnecessary losses during the fight while building up their combat potential outside of it.
This is why Pandora Stars is strong during late game. Where most teams became desperate to defend, Pandora Stars came in fresh and prepared at the right time to finish their job. The direct invitee will play with no pressure, and that’s why Pandora Stars is very dangerous.
