FFWS SEA 2026 Fall Knockout Week 1: Fine Tuning The Details
The first week of the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall knockout stage has begun. Five Indonesian teams raced to see who was going to qualify for the grand finals in a better spot than anyone else.
Due to some changes in the team’s internal roster, some Indonesian teams have enacted few changes to their lineup. This first week was a test to see how their adjustment could cope with the ever-changing Southeast Asian landscape.
Some teams fared better, some teams are still adjusting, and some other teams will have to keep up their game. This first week provided a great amount of feedback for them to improve.
Generally speaking, teams from Thailand are still the ones to watch. They are the powerhouse of Free Fire esports in SEA, and every team will strive to beat them.
Team Falcons held the first place at the table, followed by AG.AL and Buriram United. All of them are Thai teams. Secret WAG from Vietnam followed suit in fourth.
Indonesian team RRQ Kazu landed in fifth. While not obtaining any Booyah last week, they had stable gameplay, scoring a consistent amount of kills and placement points.
The decision to not meddle with the team’s roster proved a good choice since players performed with an established chemistry. It will remain to be seen if they wanted to change their lineup arrangement, especially with RRQ also developing young talents through their RRQ Academy division.
Bigetron by Vitality tailing RRQ Kazu on sixth. They are also sticking with their current lineup, with no changes in sight. Although they lost one player who transferred to EVOS Divine, the team seems unfazed and performed pretty well with one Booyah.
Moving down to ninth, ONIC Olympus has some work back in their base to do. The addition of Poom, the first Thai import in Indonesia, made some intrigue, but it hasn’t translated much into a good result. Perhaps communication issues will have to be addressed.
MBR Omega landed in 14th position. Despite scoring a Booyah, the team might have struggled to break into the SEA level. Coming from the FFNS tournament, MBR Omega will have to adjust their mindset as soon as possible before sinking further in the table.
Perhaps the most disappointing team was EVOS Divine on 15th. The loss of their top players, such as Rasyah and Reyy, can be felt as the team lost its commanding presence. Their replacement has a large shoe to fill, and it’s clear that they’re struggling to do so.
We still have three more weeks for the knockout stage, so teams have ample time to show an improvement during break time. The next matchday will start on August 21.
