MPL Indonesia Mascot Suga Introduced

The MPL Indonesia mascot has been introduced during the beginning of the ninth week of MPL Indonesia Season 17’s regular season.

“Surya Garuda,” affectionately called Suga, becomes MPL Indonesia’s first mascot, official ambassador, and the first Intellectual Property (IP) created specifically for the nation’s top-tier MLBB esports league.

Suga’s creation represents MPL Indonesia’s commitment, together with Indonesia’s Ministry of Creative Economy (Ekraf) and local IP agency Tale X, to create a “creative playground” for IP creators.

The “Surya” element in his Majapahit Crown symbolizes the support of superfans and the proud spirit of “We Own This,” the foundation of MPL Indonesia’s strong and united community.

Suga’s design also incorporates other Indonesian cultural elements, such as Batik Parang, representing strength, and Mega Mendung patterns, symbolizing calmness.

More than just a mascot, Suga represents the full support of fans for athletes, whether competing in MPL Indonesia or international tournaments.

He will accompany Indonesian representatives at major events such as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) and M Series World Championship, as well as prestigious sporting events like the Asian Games and Esports Nations Cup (ENC).
