Team Spirit Wins MSC 2026 Against Yangon Galacticos

Team Spirit wins MSC 2026 in a closely tied match against Yangon Galacticos. This would be the first time ever a European team, specifically from the EECA region, reaching the grand final match and winning it.

Team Spirit beat their Burmese rivals in a 4-3 scoreline, securing the USD 1 million prize reward, as well as obtaining the finals MVP title through Kid Bomba.

In the first two games, both teams traded blows on a level field. Team Spirit then gained momentum by locking in on the next two games. The team faced a remontada threat after Yangon Galacticos clawed back to a 3-3 level.

In the final game, Team Spirit controlled the game comfortably to reach the match point and win the MSC 2026.

Commenting on his team’s victory, the finals MVP Kid Bomba said that Team Spirit deserves this achievement for all the work they have put in for the past few years.

“We trained hard, prepared well, and made the most of our bootcamp (in Malaysia). We had scrimmages with Asian teams, which helped us,” said Kid Bomba.

Team Spirit, as well as other teams such as Aurora Turkiye and Yangon Galacticos, defied odds by beating favorite teams from the Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines regions, which are known as the benchmark of the MLBB esports scene.

This further shows that the MLBB esports are ever-evolving with new metas, pushing teams and players to adapt or to be crushed by the changing landscape.

“Crowning our first international MLBB champion from outside Southeast Asia reflects the competitive depth of MLBB esports and the impact of expanding competitive pathways across all regions,” said Tiger Xu, the global head of MLBB Esports.
