12 Nations Advanced to MLBB at The 20th Asian Games
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) 2026 Asian Games Qualifier has concluded, confirming the 12 teams that will advance to the main stage of the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
Held at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore, from 18 to 21 June, the qualifier brought together teams from across Asia as they competed for a place at MLBB’s debut at the Asian Games.
The 20th Asian Games will take place in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from 29 August to 1 October 2026. It will mark the first time MLBB is featured as an official medal title at the Asian Games. The milestone comes as MLBB marks its ground-breaking 10th anniversary.
The following teams have secured their place at the 20th Asian Games:
- Southeast Asia: Philippines; Cambodia; Indonesia; Myanmar; Malaysia
- West Asia: Saudi Arabia; Jordan; Islamic Republic of Iran
- Central Asia: Kazakhstan; Uzbekistan
- South and East Asia: Mongolia; Hong Kong, China
Aichi-Nagoya 2026 will be where established MLBB powerhouses defend their legacy, and rising regions attempt to rewrite it.
The Philippines remains one of the clearest benchmarks, with a deep talent pool, proven international pedigree, and a history of delivering under pressure. However, the qualifier also showed that the field is evolving.
Rising regions such as Cambodia displayed similar dominance in their route to qualification, signaling that the race for Asian Games glory may not follow the old power rankings.
For these teams, Aichi-Nagoya 2026 is a chance to move from challenger to medal contender and to prove that MLBB’s competitive excellence now extends well beyond the traditional favorites.
