Falcons PH Sent Team Vitality Back Home During MSC 2026 Knockout

Both local French fans and Indonesian fans left brokenhearted after Team Vitality got eliminated during the knockout stage of MSC 2026 by Team Falcons PH.

Both teams initially met during the group stage, where Team Vitality won 2-0 against the Philippine representative. It marked an unusual start for Philippines teams after Team Liquid PH failed to qualify for the knockouts.

While Team Vitality has prepared for this revenge match, it wasn’t enough. In the first game, Falcons PH isolated Emann so that Team Vitality could not perform well. It almost went the same in the second game before Nnael rallied his team for an equalizer.

Unfortunately, failure to respect ban Falcons PH’s key heroes, as well as Team Vitality’s insistence on playing ineffective heroes, led to their demolition for the rest of the match. It finished 1-3 in Falcons PH’s favor.

Speaking exclusively to DoubleXP, Shogun, Team Vitality’s EXP laner felt that Falcons PH has improved a lot since their defeat at the group stage.

“Maybe they learned from our strats, maybe they improved so much,” said Shogun. “For me, the mistake is on us.”

“Thank you for supporting us. This is not a good result, but next time we’ll come back better,” he continued.

The defeat will definitely be detrimental to Team Vitality’s effort in the Esports World Cup 2026‘s club championship, as their position is slowly declining and their rivals, Team Falcons, are steadily climbing up due to their sheer number of teams finishing in good positions.
