Savero is Leaving ONIC Esports
Gold laner Savero is leaving ONIC Esports‘ Mobile Legends division, the team confirms today.
Real name Clayton Adrielo Kuswanto, Savero was poised as ONIC’s young blood who could help the team transition from its aging lineup. He has helped the team on several critical moments, turning dire situations into victories.
Savero has proven his mettle since joining ONIC at the age of 15. He has won several titles, such as Liga Esports Nasional 2024, MPL Indonesia seasons 15 and 16, and Games of the Future 2025.
After 2 seasons in MPL ID, Savero is leaving ONIC Esports

The social media accounts of ONIC Esports broke the news just recently, on February 23.
“Savero has been a part of ONIC since he was 15. He started his journey with ONIC Prime (then known as ONIC Prodigy in MDL) and grew into one of the best talents we have ever had,” wrote ONIC.
“In MPL ID Season 17, we must part ways. However, every journey and memory we’ve shared will forever be a part of the ONIC ID family’s history,” they continued.
Rumors were spreading that Savero will be transferring to ONIC Philippines, presumably to fill out the vacuum left by Grant “Kelra” Pillas, who has signed a contract with ONIC ID. But there is no confirmation about this transfer status.
No places left for Savero in ONIC?

Ultimately, one of the reasons that Savero is leaving ONIC Esports comes from the fact that the team has too much talent in the gold lane department.
With the coming of Kelra, as well as Schevenko “Skylar” Tendean’s status as an inactive player (management confirmed that he’s not leaving the team), it was difficult for Savero to fight for the lead gold laner position.
In another note, ONIC’s CEO Justin Widjaja informed us that the reason Savero was not selected for ONIC’s MPL Indonesia Season 17 roster was because he did not pass the trial process.
While the circumstances behind this decision are unfortunate, we wish Savero the best for his future endeavors in the MLBB esports scene.
