ONIC Rising Strong Against Entity7 Amidst MSC 2026 Group B Twist

The second day of MSC 2026 showed huge upsets where title favorites fell to the lower bracket in group B, but only ONIC stood tall against Entity7.

Before their match, Selangor Red Giants seemed to underestimate Pro Esports and lost 1-2. Even crazier, last year’s champion, Team Liquid PH, was slain 0-2 by Aurora Türkiye.

While ONIC perhaps drew an easier lot, they never let down their attack against Entity7. The team dominated throughout the match, and even Kairi obtained the first ever Savage in this tournament.

According to Sanz, all teams in MSC 2026 have improved and tried to deviate from their usual game plan. But he noticed that the teams from emerging regions have leveled up significantly.

“The way Pro Esports and Aurora Türkiye are playing now is really a far cry from before. There’s been a lot of improvement in their rotations. A lot has changed,” continued Sanz.

Today, Team Vitality will play against Team Falcons PH in group A to determine who’s going to qualify for the knockout stage from the upper bracket.
