FFWS SEA 2026 Spring Begins!

The Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA) 2026 Spring begins officially on Friday, April 24, 2026.

The tournament brings together the 18 best teams from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia to compete for the title of Southeast Asian champion and a ticket to the Esports World Cup 2026.

The five Indonesian representatives—Bigetron by Vitality, RRQ Kazu, EVOS Divine, ONIC, and Shadow Esports—are ready to begin their quest to secure a spot in the Grand Finals.

The FFWS SEA 2026 Spring series begins with the knockout stage, taking place from April 24 to May 17, 2026.

From this phase, the top 12 teams will advance to the Grand Finals, which will be held offline on May 30–31, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The top eight teams from the Grand Finals will secure tickets to the 2026 Esports World Cup, joining EVOS Divine, which has already qualified as the defending champion of the 2025 EWC.

Indonesian coaches confident in achieving good results

All Indonesian teams’ coaches are confident that their team can achieve good results and be able to qualify for the Esports World Cup.

Bigetron by Vitality coach Chrisjo emphasized that his team is entering this season with even greater ambition.

“We have a unique playing style for every season; challenging the meta to become champions is the principle we hold dear. We’ll prove with our double sniper meta that we’re unbeatable,” said Chrisjo.

A similar sentiment was expressed by RRQ Kazu’s coach, Ady, who aims to overcome their biggest challenge to date.

“We’ve almost always been able to demonstrate our quality in this competition, but we haven’t yet managed to become champions. This season, we don’t just want to perform well—we want to perform flawlessly so we can close out the competition with the championship title,” said Ady.

Meanwhile, the debutant team Shadow Esports is ready to bring a fresh perspective to the Southeast Asian stage. Coming off their victory in the FFNS 2026 Spring Championship, Shadow Esports is determined to dispel doubts about teams promoted from national competitions.

“We understand that the level of FFWS SEA is very different from FFNS, but we’re not here just to be the underdogs. We want to truly compete, adapt quickly, and prove that we belong on this stage,” said Janes, Shadow Esports’ coach.
