Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden Returns with Nine-Tails

Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden is now back with a new story in Chapter 1: The Nine-Tails’ Attack. This time, the adventure in Konoha Village is made even more complete with the introduction of the Ninja Academy and Hinata Hyuga.

From 16 September to 15 October, this collaboration brings back a number of elements from the previous chapter with several updates. Players can explore new areas, discover different ways to interact with the Nine-Tailed Fox, and collect various rewards available throughout the collaboration.

A variety of Naruto Shippuden-themed rewards are also available throughout this collaboration. After completing missions, Survivors have the chance to choose one of two main rewards: the Jiraiya Bundle or the Hinata Bundle.

As in previous collaborations, the Nine-Tailed Fox will reappear in Bermuda and may target aircraft, armoury buildings, or land areas. Its unexpected appearances can change the situation mid-match, so players will need to adapt their strategies.

In this chapter, players will not only face attacks from the Nine-Tailed Fox. Players can also utilize Sharingan: Control, a new skill that allows them to briefly control the Nine-Tailed Fox and channel its power into a specific area.

Battles will also become even more intense with the introduction of the Ninjutsu skill ‘8 Trigrams Palm Rotation,’ which grants players the ability to release chakra in all directions whilst spinning, forming a defence that helps ward off incoming attacks. This skill complements the six returning Ninjutsu skills: Water Dragon Jutsu, Great Breach, Fireball Jutsu, Rasengan, Chidori, and Cherry Blossom Clash.

This collaboration expands the Village of Konoha by introducing the Ninja Academy as a new location. This place marks the beginning of the journey for several generations of ninja, including Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno. At the Ninja Academy, players can explore classrooms, visit the Chunin Written Exam Room, and head to Naruto’s iconic swing. Players who interact with the swing will receive an additional buff.

The atmosphere of Naruto Shippuden will also be brought to life through iconic songs from the anime within the game. “Blue Bird” will accompany the parachute phase, whilst “NARUTO Main Theme” will play as the collaboration lobby music.

This adventure also marks Hinata Hyuga’s first appearance in Free Fire via the Hinata Bundle, featuring her signature look from Naruto Shippuden. This bundle follows high player demand after the first collaboration. Within the event interface, players can also discover hidden interactions inspired by the Twin Lion Fists and the Byakugan.

In addition to the Hinata Bundle, the Jiraiya Bundle is also making a comeback, giving players the chance to complete their collection. After completing missions, players can choose one of the two bundles via the Pick-One Grand Prize. Players can also collect various other special items, including Tsunade’s Cloak, Gaara’s Tattoo Facepaint, Kakashi’s ANBU Black Ops Mask, and the Froggy Wallet Elimination Crate.
