Ragnarok Origin Classic Released for PC and Mobile

Ragnarok Origin Classic released officially yesterday, March 26, 2026. It is available to play on regions such as Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and South Korea.

This game retains many classic features from the original Ragnarok Online MMOPRG, perfected with a fairer game design that benefits all manners of players.

Fair gameplay for all gamers

Ragnarok Origin Classic is designed with the “Grow with Monthly Pass Only” concept that simplifies character development. This will bring closer the gap between free-to-play gamers and those who paid for progression-skip items, emphasizing fair combat through strategizing.

The gameplay design is also reflected through feedback received from the closed beta test. Cosmetic items will have identical stats, and monetization has been strictly controlled.

At launch, players can expect various bonuses such as the Baphomet Jr. pet, powerful cards, and free costumes.

Don’t forget to also complete launch events such as 7-Day Party daily quests, boss hunt MVP First Kill Reward, Top 10 Guild battles, and Voice of Midgard.

Tyr Cup kicks off

The preliminary phase of the Tyr Cup esports tournament kicks off as Ragnarok Origin Classic is released. Every Monday and Wednesday night, players can participate in Dimension Drill to familiarize themselves with the tournament maps.

During this phase, either forming or joining a team counts as registering yourself for the tournament. It is open for all gamers in the recognized regions mentioned above, with a total prize pool of USD 1 million shared among the top 32 teams.
