Ragnarok Origin Classic Sakura Vows Update Launched

Ragnarok Origin Classic (ROOC), published by Gravity Game Vision, has officially released its latest update, Sakura Vows, on April 24.

While many MMORPGs use updates to drive revenue through stat-boosting items, ROOC stays true to its “Pure Fairness” promise by ensuring that all new content, including the wedding system, is strictly cosmetic and social, with no impact on character power or stats.

The Equalized Marriage System allows players to choose from three types of wedding ceremonies (Eternal Contract, Sakura Oath, and Beyond the Stars).

While they differ in visual grandeur and price (starting as low as 999,999 Eden Coins), the costume stats provided by all three are identical. This ensures that romance is accessible to everyone, not just those who top up.

Beyond weddings, the update introduces features like the Wedding Renewal for existing couples, the MBTI Oracle for personality-based matchmaking, and the Rainbow Covenant duo quests. These are designed to foster genuine player connections without financial pressure.

For the new limited-time events, the city of Prontera has been transformed with a Sakura theme. Players can participate in various events such as Out Loud Confession and a 15-day check-in challenge to earn exclusive items like the Sakura Headwear and Sakura Spring backwear.
