PlayStation State of Play February 2026: These are The Biggest Announcements
Sony has just wrapped up their PlayStation State of Play February 2026 edition. It has all the biggest news and announcements from the blue team console and platform.
From first-party titles to third-party partners, this edition of State of Play has loads of content that you can look forward to.
Check out some of the announced games from the PlayStation State of Play February 2026 edition below.

Kena: Scars of Kosmora
We begin the PlayStation State of Play February 2026 edition with a new game announcement. After the success of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Ember Lab returns for its sequel, Scars of Kosomora, poised for release later in 2026. Kena found herself in a new place and had to fight new threats with new abilities.
Ghost of Yotei Legends
This add-on for the Ghost of Yotei base game gives the players the ability to play co-op with three other players, tackling a more sinister and demonic version of Yotei Six. You can download Ghost of Yotei Legends for free starting March 10.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
The Death Stranding sequel will finally arrive on PC with various quality-of-life updates. Starting March 19, you can play it on your gaming PC with an unlocked framerate, frame generation, resolution upscaling, and DualSense support.
Pragmata
More Pragmata lore dropped, showing the rich world and deep interaction between Hugh and Diana. And that’s not all; a playable demo can be played now to satisfy your urge before the April 24 release date.

Resident Evil Requiem
Another story trailer for Resident Evil Requiem, which explores the dynamic between Grace and Leon. Leon seems to be running on borrowed time, and he somehow arrived back at the harrowing RCPD ruins. The game will release on February 27.
New Dead or Alive game
Koei Tecmo officially announced a brand-new Dead or Alive game. They teased it with a scene of Ryu Hayabusa fighting a mysterious woman. Meanwhile, you can try out the Dead Or Alive 6: Last Round update on June 25.
Control Resonant
The sequel to mind-blowing Control has players control Dylan Faden, who somehow is exempt from the rules of gravity. Well, this version of New York is already bizarre enough, so Dylan being able to execute various extraordinary attacks isn’t that surprising. It will release later in 2026.

Beast of Reincarnation
From the team that brought you Pokémon video games comes a brand-new third-person action video game, Beast of Reincarnation. Previously shown on Xbox Developer Direct 2026, this game will release on August 4.
Project Windless
Project Windless is an adaptation of a Korean novel, The Bird That Drinks Tears, by author Lee Young-do. Krafton held the rights to the game adaptation and previously announced it as a mobile game in 2019. The project restarted as Project Windless and is now being developed by Krafton Montreal.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer
Now this is podracing. Star Wars: Galactic Racer takes a deeper look at the other side of the epic space saga, far from the war between the Jedi and Sith. It is indeed set in the New Republic era, where some kind of peace has been achieved. It will release sometime later in 2026.
007 First Light
The story of the early years of James Bond is still on track to be released on May 27. More scenes from the campaign are shown, highlighting Bond’s allies and enemies, as well as a constant reminder that he is a loose cannon that needs to be tamed.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2
The second remaster collection of Metal Gear Solid games will feature two games: MGS Peace Walker and MGS4: Guns of the Patriots. The latter game is infamous since it hasn’t gotten any kind of port after 18 years, and you can blame the PlayStation 3 for that. They will release on August 27.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse
Another win from Konami’s side where they revived the Castlevania nameplate with Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. Dead Cells studio Motion Twin is handling the production. Play as Trevor Belmont once more, this year.
John Wick
We finally got a proper John Wick game where we directly control the eponymous Baba Yaga. Block enemy bullets with your bulletproof arms and wield guns like you’re practicing kung fu. Oh, and Keanu Reeves seems to be back on board.
Marathon
The troubled revival shooter from Bungie seems to be back on track. The trailer makes it appear to be some kind of horror single-player shooter, but this is a multiplayer-only extraction shooter. It will release on March 5, with a special Server Slam session starting on February 26.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls
This new breed of Marvel fighting game introduces the Unbreakable X-Men team. We already knew Storm was coming, and she is going to be accompanied by Magik, Wolverine, and Danger. Get to play them on August 6.
God of War Trilogy Remake
Closing off the PlayStation State of Play February 2026 edition, Santa Monica Studios confirmed that they are developing a remake of the original God of War trilogy. Original Kratos voice actor, TC Carson, announced the news in a suave manner. As you wait, you can also play God of War: Sons of Sparta, which is available right now.
