8 Teams Went Through The MSC 2026 Wildcard Group Stage
8 teams have successfully qualified for the next phase of the MSC 2026 wildcard after finishing in a favorable position at the group stage.
The group stage begins July 1, where 10 teams split into two groups, and they play a best of 1 single round-robin match.
The top team in each group will be automatically placed in the wildcard decider phase, where the next 3 teams in each group will go to the cross-group gauntlet phase. The last team on the table will be eliminated.
During the two days, we saw some surprising performance from the wildcard teams. Teams from Turkey, like FUT Esports, and Mongolia, like The Huns Esports, are still the ones to watch.
Meanwhile, Japan is improving from the last M7, with Sunset Ravens providing a decent challenge. Not only that, we saw the return of top USA players through Alpha7 North.

At the end of the day, FUT and The Huns won their respective groups and have the right to start from the wildcard decider phase.
Meanwhile, Alpha7, The MongolZ, and KOG from group A; Team Falcons, Sunset Ravens, and Niightmare Esports from group B; finished comfortably to advance to the cross-group gauntlet phase.
The most fierce matchup came from group A, where three teams obtained the same win rate. FUT came out as the winner through head-to-head, beating Alpha7 and The MongolZ. At the same time, The Huns wiped the floor and obtained a perfect 4-0 victory.
VSG from Russia are eliminated from group A after failing to secure a single victory. Meanwhile, Verso Time, another Russian team, had visa problems, so they were unable to play in group B. All remaining group B teams received a walk-out victory against Verso Time and automatically advanced to the next phase.
The cross-group gauntlet phase will start today at 16:00 WIB.
