Leviatan wins VALORANT Masters London 2026 after a grueling grand finals match against title favorite Paper Rex, ending their match with a 3-2 score.

Representing Singapore, Paper Rex are expected to win this season’s Masters. Securing direct playoff entry, they initially beat Leviatan in the quarterfinals before dominating the upper bracket by beating Team Vitality and EDward Gaming.

Knocked down to the lower bracket, Leviatan triumphed in uphill battles against Team Heretics, XLG Esports, Team Vitality, and EDward Gaming.

At the grand finals on June 21, PRX opened the first game at Fracture comfortably, winning 13-3 without a heavy resistance from Leviatan.

Moving onto Split, Leviatan leveled the playing field by preventing PRX from gaining momentum. The game ended 13-6 for the Latin American outfit.

One of the closest games came in Breeze, where both teams were trading blows for a lead. Eventually the game ended in PRX’s favor, with the score of 13-11.

Having obtained match point, PRX unfortunately slipped away despite having an initial lead at Ascent. Leviatan clawed their way back to contestation after switching sides and closed Ascent at 13-10.

Lotus became the decider map, where Leviatan ran PRX tattered. While gaining momentum after switching sides, it was already too late as Leviatan finished the grand finals with a commanding score of 13-5.

Leviatan’s Neon was selected as the Finals MVP. The team bought home a total of USD 350,000 in prize money, as well as 8 VCT points. Meanwhile, Paper Rex obtained USD 200,000 and 6 VCT points.

With the second stage of VCT 2026 closing in, the VCT points rewards took Leviatan up to first place in the Americas table, edging out G2 Esports, who came from Ascension. Paper Rex is still strong at the Pacific table, with a sizable lead against another Ascension team, Nongshim RedForce.

With 22 points in the pocket, Paper Rex will automatically qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai next September.
