Free Fire Esports World Cup 2026 Day 1: Close Matchups in Each Group

The first day of the Free Fire Esports World Cup 2026 ended in excitement. A lot of great matches can be seen across two groups, where two teams dominated throughout the day.

In Group A, Thailand’s Buriram United collected three Booyahs that propelled them to first place with a total of 132 points. LOUD had two Booyahs, but their overall performance wasn’t enough to put them in the top third with just 107 points.

Moving into Group B, MIBR.LOS looked unbeatable with three Booyahs and overall consistent placement that put them on top with 126 points.

Speaking about Indonesian teams, all of them generally performed well with one booyah to their name. In Group A, EVOS Esports did good enough at fourth place with 111 points. It’s just that GunDynasty and AG.AL performed slightly better than them, with a thin margin of point differences against EVOS.

Team Vitality performed consistently well in Group B, sitting behind MIBR.LOS in second place with 94 points. Meanwhile, RRQ rounded up the top 5 with 88 points.
