Bigetron by Vitality wins MPL ID S17 Finals Against ONIC

Bigetron by Vitality successfully wins the MPL ID S17 grand finals against ONIC Esports with a convincing score.

ONIC, fielding their ultimate lineup that swooped the first team of the season award, cannot beat Bigetron’s tenacity and determination.

This victory is the icing on the cake, as the entire Bigetron by Vitality division is qualified to participate in the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris this July. They all will take part in Team Vitality’s attempt to win the Club Championship.

Besides the champion title, team captain Moreno is selected as the Finals MVP of the match.

The first game went well for Bigetron by Vitality. They had a good lead from an early snowball by Nnael and Shogun. Their teamwork set the foundation of Bigetron’s lead against ONIC Esports, 0-1.

ONIC picks up the pace in game 2, where they initially have an upper edge. But Moreno’s intervention brings Bigetron closer to their goal. They went 0-2, halfway there to victory.

In the third game, Finn became the key player for Bigetron. His Atlas’ ultimate gutted ONIC and drove Bigetron to a 0-3 score. Match point successfully achieved.

ONIC doesn’t want to give up. Acting as the vanguard, Lutpii gave the team opening to turn back the tide. 1-3, ONIC still has a long way to go.

Unfortunately, the remontada chance didn’t materialize as Bigetron steamrolled ONIC and made quick work to finish the match by the final score of 1-4.
