Kejuaraan Esports Pelajar DKI Jakarta 2026 Supports Athlete Regeneration
A total of 3,693 students from 280 junior and senior high schools participated in the Kejuaraan Esports Pelajar DKI Jakarta 2026 (DKI Jakarta Student Esports Championship 2026), which culminated at GOR Mampang, Jakarta, on Sunday (October 11, 2026). The event was supported by UniPin, which involved 747 teams as part of its efforts to encourage the regeneration of esports athletes and open opportunities for young talents to grow.
The grand final was attended by the Secretary General of PB Esports Indonesia, Hartman Harris Christian; the Secretary of the Youth and Sports Office of DKI Jakarta Province, Zuhud Pana Graha, S.H., M.Si.; the Chairman of ESI DKI Jakarta, Maj. Gen. TNI Tjahjono Prasetyanto; the Daily Chairman of ESI DKI Jakarta Province, Bimo Pradikto; and Debora Imanuella, Senior Vice President of Community and Media Networks at UniPin Global.
The competition featured six categories: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Junior High and Senior High divisions), Honor of Kings (Junior High and Senior High divisions), eFootball (Senior High division), and PUBG Mobile (Senior High division)
Beyond competition, the event provided students with opportunities to hone skills, build teamwork, and develop discipline and sportsmanship.

Zuhud Pana Graha reminded students to balance esports training with education, encouraging them to maintain camaraderie and view competition as a path to achievement.
“The potential of young talent in DKI Jakarta is very impressive. Today we witness the future Esports athletes of Jakarta,” added Maj. Gen. TNI Tjahjono Prasetyanto
“Athlete regeneration is a crucial part of developing Indonesia’s esports ecosystem. Student competitions give young people space to sharpen their skills, build a competitive mentality, and learn discipline and sportsmanship. UniPin hopes more young talents gain opportunities to grow and achieve, without neglecting education and character building,” said Debora Imanuella.
UniPin also participated in the event with booth activations featuring mini-games such as spin wheels and Tekken, providing entertainment for participants and visitors between matches.
Parents also played a supportive role. Yanti, a parent from Rawamangun, supported her child’s team from SMPN 74 East Jakarta, which reached the finals. She viewed esports as a positive outlet for children to channel interests and develop potential.
