FFWS SEA 2026 Fall Knockout Week 2: RRQ Heating Up The Competition

The second week of the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall saw a lot of improvements from Indonesian teams. In this week alone, all Indonesian teams managed to obtain Booyah.

Starting from the first day, ONIC Olympus, MBR Omega, and RRQ Kazu dominated the first four games, showing a strong display of strength for Indonesian teams.

On the second day, the pace slowed down, with EVOS Divine being the only Indonesian team to score a Booyah. This is good progress for the team, who was scrutinized for their sub-par performance in the first week.

The third day was a bit more heavy-handed, with Buriram United and Team Flash strong-arming other teams, with RRQ and Bigetron by Vitality controlling the rest of two games.

“In the first week, RRQ Kazu’s focus was indeed on analyzing the playing styles of teams from each country. Once we’d gathered enough data, we implemented a strategy in the second week to put up a fight,” said RRQ Kazu’s coach Ady.

Overall, we saw improvements in every aspect of Indonesian teams. In terms of raw skills and per-game performance, each of them is capable of securing Booyahs. Ady also said that Indonesian teams now have a better understanding of the current meta, such as the double sniper lineup.

But generally, every team must improve their consistency because a single Booyah can become useless if they finished poorly for the rest of the day.

As the second week finished, we now move into the second phase of the knockout stage that will determine which teams will make it to the finals. Teams will split into four pools based on their placement and will play in different dates according to their pools.

In pool A, Team Flash currently sits in first place on the table, followed by RRQ Kazu at second and Team Falcons at third. AG.AL and Buriram United are trailing behind. Bigetron placed on sixth, facing strong walls that need to be broken through.

ONIC is still stuck at 11th, showing that they still have to deal with communication issues. Despite this, they are still in the top 12, which means they will play on pool A right away.

EVOS Divine and MBR Omega are both stuck at 13th and 14th, which means both of them will be placed in pool B and will start playing on the second date of the third week.

For each day in the third week, the top two teams will qualify for the grand finals, until 10 teams remain. They will continue to the fourth week, where top 6 teams will fill in the last spot in the grand finals.

The observation phase is now over. Now is the time for everyone to lock in and secure their rights to play in the finals. The second phase of the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall knockout stage will start on August 28.
