Team Vitality Wins MWI 2026, Completes 2024 Revenge Against NAVI

Team Vitality wins the MWI 2026 grand final against NAVI in what fans described as a “2024 grudge match.”

Back in MWI 2024, Team Vitality lost against Omega Empress, the precursor of NAVI, in a lopsided score of 3-0.

While Team Vitality went on to win the MWI 2025, the humiliation still remains, and they finally exacted their revenge by winning 2-4.

Team Vitality started slow against NAVI in the first game but punched back later. NAVI then equalized the score to 2-2, but Team Vitality was quick to adapt and finished the deed.

With this victory, Team Vitality established themselves as the unbeatable force in the MLBB women’s scene.

Their domination is also matched by the MWI’s popularity over the years. Esports Charts has noted several improvements in the viewership, be it in terms of hours watched and total viewers.

“I felt like a lot of pressure coming in from everyone. This year, the EWC is in Paris. Like it’s our home ground. And then you like, you really have to win. And then we’re also defending our title, right? I think now that we finally won, I think it’s like a huge relief off my chest,” said Chell, Team Vitality’s gold laner.

Danny Engels, chief international officer of Team Vitality, said the back-to-back MWI title boosted the organization’s morale to push the women’s esports scene further.

“I think something that we in Vitality also would like to do is push the women’s esports scene even further. I think what we’re seeing this year was a fantastic tournament with an amazing grand final. And if we can play a role in pushing this forward, not only in Southeast Asia but also across the world, that’s what we want to be,” said Engels.

Bigetron by Vitality received prize money of USD 150,000, with Vival also netting the Finals MVP bonus of USD 25,000.
