Free Fire’s 9th Anniversary Coincides with FFNS 2026 Fall

Free Fire’s 9th anniversary celebration is set to begin on June 24, 2026, under the theme “Pesta 9.”

Free Fire will be hosting a variety of activities to celebrate its 9-year journey with players in Indonesia and around the world.

Free Fire’s 9th anniversary celebration brings a variety of exciting gameplay updates starting June 24, 2026. In addition to gameplay changes in Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes, updates will also be introduced to the visual design and gameplay experience.

Free Fire introduces a 3D “Pesta 9” themed lobby with various features, such as the Arena Showdown, Group Dance, and Saddle Brawl, providing a new space for players to celebrate Free Fire’s anniversary together.

BR mode now features Zone Missions that can upgrade vending machines, coin machines, and revival points in the surrounding area, as well as Loot Box Revival, which allows players to revive teammates using their loot boxes.

Players can enhance their character’s skills through Skill Power Boost, upgrade items with Awaken Weapon, and utilize the Ability Point System in Clash Squad to unlock skill boosts, special buffs, and Weapon Awakener.

To celebrate its 9th anniversary, Free Fire will host an offline celebration in Yogyakarta from July 2–12. This celebration coincides with the FFNS 2026 Fall Grand Finals on July 12. This celebration of Free Fire’s anniversary and esports stage will feature a variety of exciting activities.

From July 3 to 12, Free Fire will transform the Malioboro Terrace into a game-style “Waiting Cabin.” Visitors can get various exclusive “Pesta 9” merchandise for free.

Free Fire will give visitors the chance to participate in a Fast Tournament to test their skills and combat prowess on the battlefield alongside Free Fire KOLs, pro players, and Game Masters.

A Pesta 9-themed festival will be held in conjunction with the FFNS 2026 Fall Grand Finals on July 12, 2026, at Pancasila Field, Grha Sabha Pramana, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of activities at this festival, ranging from sampling authentic Yogyakarta cuisine to enjoying a special music stage set up to celebrate Free Fire’s Pesta 9.
