Indonesian Teams Advance to FFWS SEA 2026 Spring 2nd Phase

Indonesian teams have successfully advanced to the second knockout phase of FFWS SEA 2026 Spring.

While no teams were eliminated at the first phase, three Indonesian teams, RRQ Kazu, Bigetron by Vitality, and ONIC Olympus, finished in the top 12 at the table, confirming their placement in Pool A in the second phase.

Meanwhile, Shadow Esports will be placed in Pool B, while EVOS Divine will start from Pool C.

The second knockout phase will start this week to determine which teams will make it through to the Grand Finals in Vietnam.

The first day will pit the entire Pool A teams, where the top two teams will go to the Grand Finals. On the next day, the rest of Pool A will be joined with Pool B, and the cycle continues until teams from Pool C arrive.

The remaining 10 teams will move to the second week with teams from Pool D. They will play for the entire week to determine the last 6 spots for the Grand Finals.

Finished in second place, RRQ Kazu will take advantage of their good momentum for the upcoming second knockout phase.

“Being in the top twelve certainly gives us an advantage because it means we have more opportunities to play. But our goal remains the same: we want to secure our spot in the Grand Finals on the very first day,” said RRQ Kazu’s coach Ady.

“So in the third week, we’ll focus on playing with more discipline and making the most of every match so we don’t have to wait until the next day,” he explained.

Meanwhile, being put in Pool C, EVOS Divine actually improved their gameplay compared to the first week. Unfortunately, they still have a lot of catching up to do.

“We have to accept that the results from the first week really hindered our progress in the knockout stage,” acknowledged EVOS Divine’s coach Leem.

“The most important thing for us now is to make the most of our opportunities in the third week by playing more aggressively while keeping our goal of qualifying for the Grand Finals early in mind,” he said.

The second knockout phase of FFWS SEA 2026 Spring will begin from May 8 to 17.
