HUAWEI Mate X7 Proves Foldable Phones Could Be Made thin and Durable
HUAWEI launched their new foldable phone in Indonesia, the HUAWEI Mate X7. The flagship phone from HUAWEI showcases many new features in terms of design and durability.
Focusing on its chassis strength, the frame and its screen have been reinforced. The camera also had an upgrade, with its telephoto capability becoming its highlight.
Check out what’s new from the HUAWEI Mate X7 below.
A thin design without a sacrifice

When you unfold the HUAWEI Mate X7, the frame thickness is just 4.5 mm. It doesn’t feel bulky and will fit nicely inside your pocket.
The 8-inch adaptive 120Hz screen itself is reinforced with Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass on the outside. On the inside, a 3-layer composite ultra-tough structure with an advanced precision hinge made sure the phone can withstand the force from folding.
This smartphone is also IP58 and IP59 certified, meaning it is water-resistant for up to 2 meters in depth, spray resistant, and also high-temperature resistant. Wet touch support made it possible to operate the phone during rain.
Telephoto camera for HUAWEI Mate X7

The HUAWEI Mate X7 is equipped with a 50MP telephoto macro camera, capable of producing vivid colors with its 17.5EV ultra-lighting HDR feature.
The telephoto capability can produce a sharp image when zoomed, so no details are lost. AI features can also retouch the final result with options such as “AI Remove” and “AI Best Expression.”
The True-to-Color Camera 2.0 system could reproduce accurate colors up to 43% compared to its previous generation.
Long uptime with big battery and fast charging

For its battery, the HUAWEI Mate X7 is powered by a 5600 mAh silicon-carbon battery capable of 66 W wired and 50 W wireless supercharge charging.
The phone stays cool at hand, thanks to its large vapor chamber and graphene-based heat dissipation system.
The HUAWEI Mate X7 is available in colors such as White Brocade, Nebula Red, and Black, starting from Rp 27.9 million.
