New Contents for NIKKE x Lycoris Recoil Event Explained

The collaboration event of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE x Lycoris Recoil has begun. Players can now log into the game and complete missions to obtain various prizes.

The collaboration with the action/slice-of-life anime by Spider Lily features 3 brand-new collaboration characters and some bonus items. Players can also try out a new mini-game rooted in the world of Lycoris Recoil.

LycoReco waiters arrived at the Ark

Chisato, Takina, and Kurumi is here to help Cafe Sweety. (IGN)

The event’s story once again involved the gargantuan Rapture Gatekeeper, who called upon the denizens of other worlds. This time, it invited three people: Chisato Nishikigi, Takina Inoue, and Kurumi.

Having awoken inside the Ark, they try to make sense of their predicament until they arrive at Cafe Sweety.

Chisato and others are being served by Sugar, Frima, and Milk, but since they cannot pay for the drinks, they have a debate. Luckily, the commander arrived after being notified about a D-WAVE reading in the area.

To help everyone settle in while the Central Government finds the Gatekeeper’s location to bring them home, Cafe Sweety decided to take the confused girls and let them help around the cafe.

New collab characters

Three Lycoris Recoil characters are obtainable through various means. (But Why Tho?)

Two new characters can be obtained through limited recruitment, and one is provided for free as a check-in bonus. Who are they?

SSR Chisato: The strongest Lycoris agent and self-proclaimed poster girl of Cafe LycoReco. She is very relaxed and easy-going while showing an aggressive yet pacifist combat style during missions.
SSR Takina: A high-performing Lycoris agent, newly assigned to the Cafe LycoReco. Her performance during missions is highly efficient since she’s very dedicated to obtaining the highest result possible.
SR Kurumi: A hacker known as “Walnut” who crossed paths with Chisato and Takina during a mission. Older than she looks, Kurumi hides inside Cafe Lycoreco to shake off her pursuers while helping the agents on their duty.

A simple but precise rhythm mini-game

During the event period, players can also try out the Lyco Reco Beats rhythm mini-game. The objective is very simple: hit the notes when they pass the assigned area.

This mini-game is easy enough but will test your reflexes and coordination skills. Can you beat the stages and obtain the prizes?

Make sure to log in and complete daily quests every day to obtain various prizes: Chisato’s and Takina’s DA Training Outfit, dupes for Kurumi so you can limit break her, a lobby background, recruitment tickets, and various enhancement items.
