MyRepublic Air Opens Up Registration: FWA internet Service with 5G Connection

MyRepublic has officially launched its brand-new Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) internet service called MyRepublic Air. It provides wireless internet access utilizing cellular radio waves.

The service is meant to provide a more accessible way for people to connect to the web, home users and businesses alike. It doesn’t rely on cable access, so more people can use MyRepublic Air, even if they are located outside MyRepublic’s cable coverage.

“MyRepublic Air is part of our commitment to providing quality internet that is more evenly distributed and easily accessible to the public,” said Iman Syahrizal, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of MyRepublic.

How does MyRepublic Air works?

As mentioned above, MyRepublic Air uses FWA technology, which is not bound to land cable restrictions, unlike a standard Fiber to the Home (FTTH) internet service. This means that the installation process becomes simpler and hassle-free.

The device will connect to the internet through a cellular 5G network. It is a last-mile solution that provides a connection between the operator’s backbone network and the user.

MyRepublic claims that their Air service can serve users with an unlimited 100 Mbps internet speed.

Pre-registration opens, starting from IDR 100k

Currently, MyRepublic Air will be available in various regions outside Java. These include Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara.

MyRepublic offered various affordable plans, with pricing starting from IDR 100,000. It doesn’t need cable installation inside the home.

“Through this service, we want to open wider internet access for people in various regions, while accelerating the distribution of digitalization in various regions,” Iman added.

MyRepublic has accepted pre-registration for MyRepublic Air. For more information, please access this link for more details and access to the pre-registration page.
