Cygames Announces Granblue Fantasy: Relink Endless Ragnarok

Video game giant Cygames has announced the next chapter to their debut 3D RPG video game, Granblue Fantasy: Relink Endless Ragnarok.

Endless Ragnarok is not a standalone sequel; it is an expansion pack that elevates the original game’s experience.

There will be new stories, quests, gameplay features, and quality-of-life fixes that will give the base game a brand new lease of life.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink Endless Ragnarok will be available to purchase on July 9, 2026, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC (via Steam), and Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time.

What’s new in Granblue Fantasy: Relink Endless Ragnarok?

Granblue Fantasy: Relink Endless Ragnarok will feature a brand new storyline, a continuation of the base game’s main story.

Unrest can be felt again in Zegagrande Skydom. Creatures called Ragnalia appear and cause chaos. Beelzebub also descends. The end is nigh; it is up to Gran/Djeeta and their capable crew to stop this new threat.

In this expansion pack, players can now summon powerful beings with Lyria’s help, just like in the Granblue Fantasy mobile game. Some summons can be controlled by players, and if certain gameplay conditions are met, players can execute a powerful Chain Burst move called Primal Burst.

Another new feature is The Conflux, an all-new solo mode where players face unique challenges and obtain powerful abilities inside its domain.

Other updates are also introduced. There will be new co-op quests added, new bosses, Master Trait that can elevate characters’ abilities, and many more.

How to obtain Granblue Fantasy: Relink Endless Ragnarok?

Players who already have the base Granblue Fantasy: Relink can buy the upgrade kit to experience Endless Ragnarok, provided that they bought it on the same platform as their base game. This upgrade kit supports both physical and digital editions of the base game.

Cygames stated that cross-platform upgrades are not supported. So that means if you have the base game on Steam, you cannot buy the upgrade kit on the PlayStation Store.

If you haven’t experienced the world of Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Endless Ragnarok is also available for direct purchase in both physical and digital formats. The package includes the Granblue Fantasy: Relink base game and the upgrade kit.

The Special Edition for Endless Ragnarok is also available with bonus content that will boost your progression up into the mid-game.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is available to purchase starting from USD 59.99 (IDR 1,000,000) for the complete game and from USD 29.99 (IDR 500,000) for the upgrade kit only.

Closed Beta Test will open in March

If you’re itching to try the game before everyone else, Cygames will open a closed beta test session from March 13 to 16, 2026. It is available on all platforms, such as PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo.

In this CBT session, players can experience one of the new characters arriving in the game, Beatrix. She is an agent for Society, alongside her peers such as Zeta and Vaseraga. Beatrix is energetic and confident, but sometimes it backfires on her.
