Savero Moves Into ONIC PH: First Import of MPL PH

Savero moves into ONIC PH after he was let go by ONIC ID. The move signifies a milestone in MPL Philippines history.

Savero is believed to have been dropped from ONIC ID’s roster since the team cannot provide a guaranteed spot for him to play.

Currently, ONIC ID has two strong gold laners: the inactive Skylar and the fresh import Kelra. Circulating rumors said Savero is going to move to ONIC PH to fill the gap left by Kelra. We can now confirm that it is indeed the case.

Savero moves into ONIC PH as the first import of the country

ONIC PH has announced their roster for the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 17. One of the new names announced came from Indonesia: Savero moves into ONIC PH as a gold laner.

Interestingly, the team claims that Savero is the first imported player to play in MPL Philippines. Since Philippine teams are confident in their capabilities, no imported player is needed to win both national and international tournaments.

“The family didn’t just grow—it made history. Please welcome SAVERO—the first-ever import in Philippine MLBB history—now officially part of the Super FAM,” wrote ONIC Philippines on their social media announcement.

“This isn’t just a signing. It’s a headline. A statement. A whole new era. We didn’t just raise the bar for Season 17… We moved it across borders,” they continued.

Speaking about ONIC PH’s complete roster, we didn’t see much. change in terms of player lineup. We still have Brusko as roamer, K1ngkong as jungler, Super Frince in mid lane, and Kirk in EXP lane.

Aside from the swap between Kelra and Savero, we also see a familiar face, Ryota, who returned back to ONIC PH as a substitute for Kirk. Just like Savero, Ryota didn’t find much playtime during his time in ONIC ID.

Haze is also promoted to the position of head coach as Ynot moved into Natus Vincere. Bluffzy also moves from Geek Fam to ONIC PH to become a player and an analyst.
