Pokémon TCG Ledakan Peniada Released in Indonesia

The latest Pokémon Trading Card Game series, “Ledakan Peniada,” officially launched in Indonesia on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Over the past week, this release has become a hot topic of discussion on social media and within the TCG community.
AKG Entertainment, as the official distributor in Indonesia, is bringing this series as part of its commitment to sustaining interest in the Pokémon Trading Card Game in Indonesia.

“The ‘Ledakan Peniada’ series is compelling because it shifts gameplay toward a faster, more aggressive pace from the start,” said Fachrul Amrullah, Head of Marketing at AKG Entertainment, the official distributor of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in Indonesia.

“The return of Mega Evolution ex, particularly through cards like Mega Charizard ex Y and Mega Zygarde ex, offers strategic options with clearer risks and rewards. This is likely to influence how players build their decks,” he continued.

Some standout cards in this series include Mega Charizard ex Y, which focuses on high damage output in a short time, and Mega Zygarde ex, which offers a combination of durability and area-of-effect attacks.

On the other hand, Pikachu ex serves as a highly flexible card that can complement various deck compositions.

This series also introduces a number of Supporter cards that help maintain the game’s consistency. Some of these include Meowth ex, which allows players to draw a Supporter card directly from their deck; Decidueye ex, which can disrupt an opponent’s energy management; and Vileplume Erika ex, which provides HP recovery options for Pokémon on the battlefield.

In the context of competitive play, the inclusion of these cards is expected to influence the deck choices players make, particularly in strategies centered on early pressure or controlling the pace of the game.

On the collectible side, cards with special artwork have been highly sought after since the series’ launch, including Mega Charizard ex Y, which comes in a special illustration version, as well as other high-rarity cards in this series.

“Beyond the gameplay itself, we’ve also observed strong fan interest in cards featuring special illustrations. Cards like Mega Charizard ex Y have been among the most sought-after since the series’ launch, reflecting a trend toward cards with striking visuals and high collectible value,” added Fachrul.

To meet demand in Indonesia, the “Ledakan Peniada” series is available in several product options, ranging from booster packs containing five random cards to the 10-Pack Plus Set, which comes with a deck case and a promo card, to the special set containing two booster packs and one promo card.
