Infinix Becomes MPL Indonesia’s Official Tournament Phone
Infinix becomes MPL Indonesia‘s tournament phone in a brand-new deal signed just recently. This partnership will also include MDL Indonesia, its developmental league.
This partnership was announced during the Infinix Note 10 Series smartphone launch on February 18, 2026, at GWK Bali.
The deal will officially run for four seasons, starting from MPL Indonesia season 17 and MDL Indonesia season 13.
The deal signals the move away from Samsung, which has become MPL Indonesia’s official tournament phone since MPL Indonesia season 6.
Supporting professional and grassroots scene, Infinix becomes MPL Indonesia’s official tournament phone

Regarding the partnership with Moonton for MPL Indonesia and MDL Indonesia, Infinix has stated that they intend to support the development of Indonesia’s esports scene from the grassroots level to the professional league.
This sentiment is received well by Moonton, who’s keen to ensure the quality of local Mobile Legends leagues at every competitive level possible.
“Moonton Games is very grateful for the opportunity to expand the scope of our previous collaboration, where now Infinix is not only the main sponsor of MDL ID but also MPL ID at the same time,” said Martinus H. Manurung, Head of ID Business Development at Moonton Games.
MPL ID champions will be crowned with “Kingfinix” title

As per MPL Indonesia’s tradition, the champion of the current season will be crowned with a title bestowed by the official tournament phone partner.
For your reference, during the Samsung era, MPL ID champions will receive a title called “Raja Galaxy” (Galaxy King), on-brand with their Galaxy smartphones, as well as signalling that the champions stand at the highest level.
This season, with Infinix becoming the official tournament phone, the champion will be crowned with the “Kingfinix” title. It’s a reference to Indonesian tech enthusiasts’ nickname for the Transsion-owned smartphone brand.
“Kingfinix is more than just a title. It’s a spirit. It represents a team capable of being disruptive, setting trends, and dominating the game in a unique way,” said Sergio Ticoalu, Head of Marketing for Infinix Indonesia.
MPL Indonesia season 17 will begin in March 2026.
