FFNS 2026 Spring Predictions: Who Will Emerge Victorious?

In less than two days, FFNS 2026 Spring will begin in Palembang Sport & Convention Center. This tournament will determine who will grab the last Indonesian spot at the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring tournament in Vietnam.

As with any other battle royale tournaments, the nature of each battle can shift in a random but controlled manner. The team who’s able to adapt to the situation, as well as perform consistently, will be victorious.

In this article, we laid out our predictions for the potential winners of the FFNS 2026 Spring and the reason why they could shake up the opposition.

1. RRQ Academy

RRQ Academy (Team RRQ)
RRQ Academy (Team RRQ)

Our first candidate is the sister division of RRQ Kazu, RRQ Academy. It’s really nice to see that RRQ’s developmental plan also extends to the Free Fire division.

They entered the FFNS 2026 Spring grand finals through a third-party tournament qualification. They won the Mas Sukro Cup season 2 back in December 2025 and are thus eligible to enter the FFNS.

At the play-ins, RRQ finished 3rd place in group B. Granted, their finishing position isn’t strong compared to the top two teams, such as MBR Omega and Jiggle is Back. This proved that FFNS 2026 Spring provided an excellent challenge for the team to handle.

If they’re able to play consistently as always and remedy the mistakes from the play-ins, there is no doubt they will qualify for the FFWS SEA stage. Also, don’t you think it’ll be interesting to see two RRQ divisions on the same stage?

2. Shadow Esports

Shadow Esports (Shadow Esports)

The story of Shadow Esports is nothing but impressive. They qualified for the FFNS 2026 Spring after finishing second in the FFNS 2025 Fall. What makes them interesting is how the team started.

Before being acquired by Shadow Esports, they were called Costa Caffe and were able to compete at the FFNS 2025 Fall through an online qualifier. Despite their grassroots background, Costa Caffe gave all the competing teams a run for their money.

During the play-ins phase, Costa Caffe finished first in Group B with 137 points. Moving to the grand finals, they were amongst the favorites to clinch the title but eventually lost to Kagendra.

Compared to other teams, we think that Shadow Esports have a great chance to win this season’s FFNS, provided they can maintain their excellent display from last year.

3. Kagendra

Kagendra (Kagendra)
Kagendra (Kagendra)

The champion of the last FFNS returns to the stage. Kagendra might win the FFNS 2025 Fall, but their appearance this time came from their failure at the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall.

At the aforementioned tournament, Kagendra failed to finish with a satisfactory result. During the first phase of the knockout stage, Kagendra barely qualified for the Clash Squad, only to be knocked out at the low 1-2 bracket in the Swiss stage phase.

Moving to the second knockout stage, Kagendra aren’t strong enough to secure first place in week 5, so they moved into the last chance qualifier. Their campaign ends at that stage, finishing 11th.

Based on this result, Kagendra will have to start from the FFNS 2026 Spring if they want to return to the FFWS SEA stage. There’s only one slot available, which proves to be a big hurdle. But judging from their FFNS result last year, the magic might still be there.

4. Persatuan PSSJ

If there is one team that could pull off another achievement like Costa Caffe, we think it could fall onto Persatuan PSSJ.

They finished first in the online qualifier, then proceeded to land the second spot on the group C play-ins to qualify for the grand finals behind Sriwijaya Esports. PSSJ had a close fight with Sriwijaya, with an 8-point difference at the end of the sixth match. Overall, PSSJ got two Booyahs, one third-place, and one fourth-place.

One of the reasons that PSSJ could pull this off might just have come from Garduu, a former Sriwijaya Esports member. We’re not saying he carried the team, but clearly his experience rubbed into his teammate.

We are excitedly looking forward to PSSJ’s performance at the FFNS 2026 Spring and seeing what they have in store for the grand finals.

5. Phoenix HC

Our last team on this list is Phoenix HC, who might just have one of the most dramatic stories in this edition of FFNS.

They once failed to qualify through the online qualifier, so they managed to land second place at the Guild Wars qualifier in Group 1. This is just enough to proceed into the FFNS play-ins. Placed in group C, they finished 3rd place behind PSSJ and Sriwijaya.

Other teams should watch out for Genzz. He played well for Phoenix, with 16 eliminations and 18 assists during the play-ins. He will be the focal point for Phoenix’s attack.

They have high odds to win FFNS 2026 Spring but will have to take care of surprising developments from other teams. We will see how they fare on Sunday, April 5.
